The amazing mosaic floor behind the Caryatids

The mosaic covers the whole floor surface of the 2nd Chamber. Its pieces are colored in white, black, gray, blue, red and yellow. The mosaic shows a chariot dragged by two white horses. The driver (charioteer) of the chariot is a bearded man having a laurel wreath on his head. Ahead of the horses and the chariot, we can see god Hermes.
